Blackjack Switch: Rules, Tips, Basic Strategy The game of Blackjack Switch, as you've probably guessed, is a variant of Blackjack. The rules are the same as in standard Blackjack except you have two hands, which you play in turn. The right hand first, then the left. Then the dealer plays his hand. Just like in standard Blackjack you may split, double or take insurance, etc. In this modification of Blackjack a new cards move (that once considered to be cheating) is possible - the switch of two top cards while playing two hands. The house deals two hands to the player and the player can bet on both of them and at any moment player can interchange the top two cards. Doing this the player has the opportunity to manipulate the odds to his favour.

Another exception from the standard Blackjack is that the dealer always hits soft 17. Natural blackjacks are paid 1:1 instead of 3:2. The greatest advantage the house receives in the Blackjack Switch is that the dealer can reach a total hand of 22 without busting and his hand of 22 will tie a player's 21 hand, unless the player has a blackjack and notice that the player will always lose on push.

Apart from the rules mentioned above, the rest Blackjack switch rules are the same as in standard blackjack. Switch is played with 6 decks, they are shuffled after every round, players may double at any time and so on. Notice that in Switch there is a Super Match side bet, which is not influenced by the player's initial bets. This bet is put before any cards are dealt. If a player has a pair than the Super Match would pay him 1:1, 5:1 for a strip, 8:1 if he gets two pairs and 40:1 for four of a kind. A Super Match bet is paid just for the first four cards.

Other rules:

The player must make two bets of equal size.
Cards will be dealt face up.
Dealer hits a soft 17.
Player may double on any 2 cards.
Player may not resplit.
Player may double after a split.
